Add the chat to Drupal
Your chatbot is one line of code. Copy yours from Install in your dashboard; it looks like this:
<script src="https://aichatfrontdesk.com/w.js" data-bot="YOUR-CHATBOT-ID" defer></script>
Drupal
- Open your active theme's
templatesfolder and findhtml.html.twig. If it is not there, copy it from Drupal's corestabletheme layout folder into your theme. - Paste the line just before the closing
</body>tag in that file and save it. - Go to Configuration → Development → Performance and click Clear all caches.
- Open your site and view the page source to confirm the line is present, then look for the chat button.
A custom block can also hold the line, but Drupal's editor often strips script tags, so check the page source. Re-check after theme updates.
These steps are written from each platform's own help pages. Menu names change, and the guides have not been tested on a live site on every platform. If a step does not match what you see, use "Email it to my web person" in your dashboard.
Check it works
Open your website in a private window. The chat button sits in the bottom corner. Your dashboard's Today page shows "Installed" once the first visitor loads it.
